Toilet themed restaurants are not new in Taiwan; it has been around since 2004 or earlier, with people dining in a toilet like ambience and eating from mini toilet bowl.
I always thought that the business idea won’t last long; but with the huge exposures by media and bloggers… seems that these eateries are becoming a bizarre food icon from Taiwan, something like fugu in Japan and live octopus in Korea.

The latest Samsung AnyCall commercial (full 9 mins version), featuring Korean pop stars BoA, Xiah of TVXQ, Tablo of Epik High, and pianist prodigy Jin Bora…
AnyCall is famous for its CFs; its previous series featuring pop star Lee Hyori (AnyMotion & AnyClub etc.) were known globally via online video sharing sites.
With Hyori’s contract ending pretty soon, Samsung is trying to form a new hype with the quartet in AnyBand… seems like some worthy replacements.

Music video of Girls’ Generation (소녀시대) by Korean pop group Girls Generation from their self-titled debut album [video via jicho85@Youtube]…
The song is a remake of Lee Seung-chul’s (a guy btw) 1989 song, obviously for the namesake song title. Not a bad song, but kinda odd for a new group to use a cover song to mark their debut album.

Korean pop group Girls’ Generation – aka So Nyeo Shi Dae or SNSD – released their debut album Girls’ Generation Vol. 1 – Girls’ Generation yesterday (Nov 1).

The girls made their official debut in early August 2007; and despite being criticised for their (lack of) talents as well as suspicion of plastic surgeries, the girls seem to be doing well in terms of popularity.
