Woke up at 5am to prepare for the 9.15 flight to Hong Kong; travelling with my two elder sisters and a young niece in the six-days self-packed tour.
Took an airport limo and arrived at KL International Airport at 7am… plenty of time to spare. My eldest sis brought me into the MAS Lounge for a peek of what’s happening inside, while my other sis and her daughter strolled along some shops.
The flight was delayed to 10am, and we arrived at Hong Kong by 2pm. The weather was hot, close to 30 Celsius, which was not what we anticipated. It was hazy too, with polluted air flying in from the dense industries in Mainland China.
Bought our Octopus Card at Chek Lap Kok Airport before taking a cab to Kowloon to check in at our hotel, and set off to our first destination in Hong Kong, the Wong Tai Sin Temple, shortly after. And the journey begins…
