Korean pop star Rain will be leaving his mentor Park Jin-young (JYP) after the end of his contract in June.

Rain joined JYP’s company as a trainee in 2000 and made his debut in 2002; he is now one of the top pop acts in the country and getting famous internationally.

It’s not revealed what Rain’s future planning is; there’s rumour that he will be starting his own company. With his soaring popularity and recent advancement into Hollywood, he’s not short of options for sure.

JYP will have to find some newcomers to fill the void; hmmm… the Wonder Girls?
