Shigeo Obara, a Japanese farmer found a clover with 21 leafs last week in his garden. It’s a new Guinness record, beating his own previous record that was set in 2002 when he found a 18-leaf clover.
In Europe a 4-leaf clovers symbolize lucky but in Japan they symbolise happiness, 5-leaf clovers symbolise wealth and 6-leaf clovers are fame. [Hector]
I wonder what a 21-leaf clover would symbolise… lots of wealth, fame and happiness?

When I was a kid we always searched and searched for a 4 leaf clover….never found one.
I think clovers are not often seen at my place, a tropical country. I can’t recall seeing one, and I probably won’t know that I was seeing one even if I saw it :)
I would always look for a 4 leaf clover too. When I couldn’t find one I would tape a leaf to a three leaf clover haha
having so much leaves makes it not look like a clover anymore…
Lan… so, any luck? :)
bb… true. It actually looks like a water lettuce.
my female friends believe clover leaf brings love.
kyon… ya, saw that on some movies and dramas too. Everything needs luck… love, wealth, happiness etc.
i uses to look for them, too. but no luck. i did get a chance to see one that my friend had…it was pretty big.
Well, perhaps people who find it is already in luck… the clover is a symbol of luck instead of bringing luck?
I’m from VA, USA & have only seen max no. of 7 leaves on a clover (virgin – no genetic altering, etc.) My cousin found the 7-leaf outside my grandmothers house. Seeing is believing!
I have patches of 4-leaf clovers in my yard (& have found an occassional 5-leaf)
