To be frank I wouldn’t have noticed the mistake if I didn’t read it from Tokyomango, it’s just a cute photo for me… ladies might have sharper sense on this kind of malfunction though…

A new trend? Maybe lol, but not likely. Initially there are debates on whether it was done on purpose as fashion, but it doesn’t look right regardless, especially when comparing to the retouched image.

but i fixed it as soon as i realized it didn’t feel right.
for some bikinis, it’s obvious which is the top and bottom, but for others, it’s harder to tell.
maybe she wear that way in purpose, trying to be different mah. she still looks cute :)

It’s not the same. The other bikini top also has a bow-tie between the bra area instead of a string.
It’s possible that she wore it that way for more coverage. Since she is kind small on top, if she wore it the correct way the top part would probably gape open when she moves. The way she’s wearing it with the wire part up gives her more coverage and less chance of exposing herself.
Notice how the strap on her left shoulder is gaping a little because it doesn’t have any wire to make the fabric stay put.
Mei… I have to read your comments a few times to understand what it means lol. You could be right… but isn’t it more dangerous (of exposure) if her lower chest is not wire-supported?
Yein Jee, lol, you might be right but with the skinny straps going around her body (usually would be tied around her neck) she can pull it tight around the lower part of her body and knot it tight. And since she’s small there’s really nothing to fall out from the lower part of her suit, lol. The thick strap probably only has a hook for one position and is not adjustable. Then again who knows…she may have really been clueless, lol, but I just noticed that it seemed to fit her well this way. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt.
I think she wore it right. The suit on the right is a little different. Even if she did wear it wrong, it’s looks nice.
