The 2008 Summer Olympics will be held in Beijing, People’s Republic of China from August 8 to August 24, which is just a month from now.
I’ll be sharing some facts and trivia about Beijing Olympics for the next 30 days; follow this tags for info and updates. You can also visit the Beijing 2008 official website for other details.

My country Malaysia is not traditionally strong in Olympics; we have had a few medals, but none of those are in gold yet. Hopefully we could make a breakthrough this year.
How about sharing some of your thoughts on what Olympic Games means to you and your country?

I come from China. We are proud to run Olympic in Beijing, our Capitol City in 2008. We want to show every people in the world we are good people and a friendly country, not like what Western medias are reporting us. Beijing Welcomes You. Support Olympic! Support Beijing!
Hi! Thanks for dropping by my blog. :D Olympic is about sportsmanship; about hope and peace.. It should not be politicize. :)
it means peace, competition, joy, sorrow, pride, victory, lost, tears, muscles, hotties, fun, and most important….. friendship.
Glad to hear from you guys. Good luck anon#1… I’m looking forward for a successful Olympic Games in Beijing.
my country is canada…i think we excel in winter sports more.
i’m a very proud chinese though, and since china is hosting the big event this year, i feel like i want to support and cheer for china more than canada, haha!
i think every nation have the same hope and dream for the olympics.
to make breakthroughs and to have sportsmanship.
winning is good, but not the most important.
to make it into such a huge international competition is already an honour.
