Music video of Eat You Up, the English song that supposedly marked Korean pop star BoA’s American debut… [updated with the new March 2009 version]
I shall refrain myself from commenting about this song anymore; I think I’ve talked enough since her American project was announced last month. So, best of luck.

“i wanna take you to my room…” haha, that’s a funny video caption, i think it sums up what the song is about :p
lol. kyon’s right.
but if you just watch the mv, you can’t really relate it back to the lyrics.
so is the US version coming out soon?
and how is it being critisized?
yes. i am agreeing w/ bb its wasn’t that provacative
and wasn’t really related to the sex and stuff..
i LOVE the dancing it was tight and Boa is pretty (I THINK NEEDED SOME HEAVY BLACK eyeliner though)…btw…i live in the US and i think it can’t be that provactive if its her..cause the stuff they show here is PRETTY bad…
bb… the US preview is kinda crappy; not sure if they will release it or not.
lol, just because it’s crappy?
i agree it’s less interesting than the korean version, but she does look pretty in it.
if they don’t release it, does that mean the US audience is gonna be seeing the korean verison on tv?
Not sure what version will US get… the whole situation is a bit messy now, poor PR communication on their part.
well, this MV is much more interesting to watch than the other…I’ll give’em that. Better variety of scenes. Still too much break dancing and MJ moves for my taste. I think they should do a few more ‘lingering’ close ups of her without all the baggy clothes and hoods covering her face all the time. I can’t study her face long enough before it flashes to some other scene, over and over. I would rather see not so much jumping and switching around with the camera shots.. But that seems to be the MV trend last decade or so. I just get sick of it personally …and dizzy lol.
Wish I was a videographer :), I personally would completely break away from the same ol safe camera work that all these guys do just to draw a paycheck. The industry needs originality and some different interesting visuals injected into it. JMO.
sorry all BoA fans but i think this song is horrible! i’ve never really liked her…always thought she was just a good marketing package like britney spears…both are manufactured entertainers who are cute. i was ready to support her though since she’s an asian trying to enter the US market…BUT i’m NOT wasting my money!
i like the song it’s really catchy, even though i can’t understand korean or japanese (i’m english btw) i still think she should have a version in her own language. i hope she doesn’t start making all her songs in english. about the videos the US one is kinda borin compared to the other one as the other one has better choreography but in my opinion neither videos really relate to the actual song which i think is important.
guys, actually the video was so cooooollllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Her 1990s dance moves and dress are not cool anymore, plus the song not that great and the video is just trash.
