Cisingtan (literally ‘Seven Star Lake’ in Chinese) is a beautiful coastline near the city of Hualian in eastern Taiwan. It got its name from the seven swamps that were scattered like fallen stars throughout the wetland that once covered the area.

What remained these days is just a nice beach with a lovely sea view.

and how lucky of you to catch a rainbow!
when i went to visit china, i’ve been to a place also with the name “seven star”, but they were cliffs instead of lakes.

YJ, there is a sayin in English, in that there is a pot of GOLD at the end of a RAINBOW, did you have time to check if this is true?

Aiyo Gillian… you should have told me earlier so that I can dig at the end of the rainbow.

On side note, I wonder if anyone has seen the end of a rainbow, the end of a real, natural and huge rainbow.
