Krispy Creme needs to prepare plenty of donuts for sure if they want to give it free for Malaysians… some of us are going to lineup hours before the shops are open.

Discipline is a tough word… if everyone could discipline ourselves from overconsumption, we won’t be seeing rising obesity stats around the world.

Most westerners have a sweet tooth. (and a fast food Grease tooth, unfortunately) Most asians I’ve met say they don’t like too many sweet stuff. Guess it’s a cultural influence on what you grew up eating. Doughnuts (especially Krispy Kremes, my favs) are super fattening. I try to dicipline myself not to eat too much sweet OR salty foods as much as when I was younger. Everything in moderation these days I say.

Doughnuts are a classic old American treat. Mom and Dad used to get a dozen Southern Maid doughnuts every Sunday Morning on the way home from Church and we’d sit and eat them at the table with Coffee. Yummm.

I don’t have sweet tooth as well, but having a donut or chocolate once in a while is really a blessing… albeit maybe blessing in disguise because of the extra calories lol.

Nice observation on the American flag colour bb… didn’t notice that at all.

the doughnut’s decorated with the american flag’s colours!
i was never a big fan of doughnuts because i think they are too sweet, which makes them seem really fattening. although i am a girl, i prefer salty foods over sweet food anytime.
but i agree that this should be celebrated worldwide! especially when my country, cananda, is so close to usa!
although i think salty foods taste better, having something sweet once in a while is good =]
