Everyone has a right to thier own opinion. I have seen several of the twins movies and I think that Gillian should have her shot in hollywood. With the right script and director she would do just fine here. Maybe not in a lead roll, but, hell. look at all the movies coming out. Dragonball, Blood: The last vampire, Underworld. Gillian could do great here, since the casting companies cant seem to find believable american actresses to play action roles. Natassia Malthe is the only actress who seems to always get the sexy bad girl rolls. And i think Gillian and her could play perfect villian rolls, since her nude photo scandal has seemed to shock HK. I’d love to see her in the next X-men flick or even Underworld 4. Hollywood is full of scandels, so I think her tiny little incident would be overlooked.

That is really a mean thing to say. I’m not a big fan of Twins or any music group directed towards tweens but she’s one of the few I actually respected… until now anyway. She’s totally lost all of that innocence she had going for her. But SHE’S 27!! That’s old. Why the hell shouldnt she be giving blowjobs and having sex?

and the hollywood business. meh. typical hollywood. Name one pg-13 movie in the last few years that didn’t involve sex. EXACTLY.

I was a little saddened when I first found out Gillian was involved with this. Why?? Well I used to be one of those teen girls listening from time to time their songs. Not a big fan but still someone who thought of them as one of ‘em good girls. But like ALL Disney stars, “role models” have to eventually fall. I was even a little disappointed to find out that Melissa Joan Hart (aka Sabrina the Teenage Witch) was pregnant until my husband reminded me she was 32.

But I digress. Back to the point: i find it disgusting what Edison Chen did. It’s bad enough that he taped and photographed them doing the nasty and those girls letting him but c’mon…really? A part of me thinks he did it on purpose. As if he wasn’t a publicity hog in the first place. But then again I’m a bit biased towards those involved with the whole rap scene.

Gillian chung is the most stupid role model star in hk and in the asia entertainment. The only come back for her is if she can be clean. Hollywood in LA only want one thing is Gillian chung is be more nude and sex from a young actress. laugh at young naive actress. This put down the Asian pride, old tradition of asian customs. Being to sexual, porn star and other explicted material etc. does not make a good movie. Pimp yourself in the stardom industry sink you so low. Good role model is always the key to success. Look back at 30 years plus of good hk movies that make them to memorable

if i were her i’d continue doing her current charity works (at least until this scandal thing cooled, subsided, and forgotten–reember this is her second picture scandal). hollywood or not, i think the US (or Canada) does offer more privacy/places to hide from public attention, so staying out of Asia is a good idea.

gillian chung in hollywood? does she even know how to speak english?? i don’t think she’ll be successful there.. make a come back maybe in 2010 or something in hong kong! and come with a more mature and sexy look.. it’ll sell :) except she doesn’t sing well. or dance well. i think she’s very very pretty though. maybe she can act :) however with acting… you don’t neccessarily need an image and even if you do it won’t come out strong. so what can she do? :\

Mandy… you are right that Gillian and the girls are the victims in this case. I actually think that Edison is a victim too… it’s his life, his own business and none of ours.

The issue with this situation is the contrast of public image which Gillian was portrayed with who she is in real life. Frankly, I couldn’t bother much… but unfortunately, not all people are as open minded.

Most people are forgetful though, and forgiving too. Gillian needs to face extra pressure for sure, but she does have a chance to make a successful comeback.

I think the people in Hong Kong need to get with the program, here.

These girls were VICTIMS of Edison Chen’s sick hobby, and girls like Gillian Chung, who have proven that they’re good actresses and singers, shouldn’t have their career ruined like this.

I also think that Zhang Yimou’s decision to remove her from the Olympic roster was done in bad taste, considering he’s had affairs with both Gong Li and Zhang Ziyi in his day.

So what if she had sex with Edison Chen? That shouldn’t automatically make her a bad role model. It’s not like she’s going around supporting premarital and unprotected sex.

What does that make the parents of those children? After all, they had to have had sex at SOME point to give their children life.

People are overreacting to this exposure, and any children who have found those pictures on the Internet (which isn’t so hard to do) need to be monitored while they’re on the Internet.
