International star Jackie Chan and Korean actress Choi Ji-woo have been chosen as honorary ambassadors of Hallyuwood, a Korean entertainment based theme park in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
Both Jackie and Choi attended the ground breaking ceremony on May 29, alongside some other famous stars like Kim Yun-jin, Kim Ah-jong and Jewelry etc.

The Hallyuwood theme park will feature a variety of tourist attractions such as studios where Korean dramas and movies are made, entertainment facilities, museums, shops and restaurants etc. The park is set to be completed by 2012.

Ya, the idea itself is interesting. Make something like a combo of Universal Studio, Disneyland and Madame Tussaud etc. and it’s going to be a great hit.

Choi Ji Woo deserved to be an ambassador of the Hallyuwood because she was one of the initiator of the Hallyu Wave. As always she looked simple, beautiful & elegant. I hope I will be able to go to Hallyuwood themepark in 2012. It will be a great place to see.
