Got this from a friend who knows I am a fan of the real KFC. It’s said to be a restaurant in China that imitates the famous franchise, but it’s very likely that this is a doctored photo… and that the restaurant didn’t exist.
I’ve found lot of discussions about this pic in various Chinese forums, a few of them claimed that the restaurant does exist, but nobody could really pinpoint the exact location of the copycat restaurant(s).

Definitely doctored. That is not the KFC type face (the G’s look kind of funky) and what’s up with that picture of the Colonel? A dark beard??? And hair only around the ears with bald above that??? The Colonel was white headed and had a full head of hair until he died. Also he looks like he’s wearing a bathrobe . lol. The colonel always had a little black bolo bowtie. (He was an”Old South” guy)
I said “G’s” because that’s what those C’s look like lol.
I was wondering if it was a doctored photo or blatant plagiarism by a Chinese restaurant; I guess I need to change a bit of my wordings in the article :p
It almost looks more like an entrance to a mall. I don’t see any tables and chairs unless they are way way back away from the front of the store. And where are all the people? It looks vacant or maybe it isn’t even open yet????

i’ve seen news about an amusement park somewhere in china that had rides and theme attractions so similar to disneyland.
then the real disneyland filed a lawsuit against that park.
so if this was real, then the real kfc would’ve definitely done something about it.
i will not be surprise if i see this in china…. they really give the bad impression that they can do anything just for the money. i think the picture looks real, it is a very good ps if its fake.
I agree, if it is in China then I wouldn’t be surpised.
