Malay version for one of the Beijing Olympic theme songs, sang by mostly Malaysian artists and a few from Indonesia and Singapore. [Hat tip to Quachee]
Among the singers are Michael Wong, Daniel Lee, David Arumugam, Ning Baizura, Gary Chaw, Dayang Nurfaizah, Maya Karin, Penny Tai, Faizal Tahir and Jaclyn Victor etc.
The song is based on the original Hong Kong version of “Beijing Olympic”, created by Eddie Ng and Jolland Chan, and featured heavyweight artists like Alan Tam, Paula Tsui, Hacken Lee, Joey Yung, Denise Ho, Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Gigi Leung, Jackie Chan, Emil Chau, Andy Hui, Kelly Chen, Eason Chan and Kenny Bee etc…

i like this song, i think its better than the previous one you share.
are the indonesians singing malaysian too?
lol, i only know michael and penny.
they played the chinese version on my chinese channel, so i’ve heard it before.
i think the difference between this song and the other one, is that this one has a more modern and upbeat melody and the other one has a traditional taste.
this one is also sang by mostly hong kong singers, whereas the other one includes all kinds of chinese singers.
i like the other one better, probably because of the more meaningful and poetic lyrics and the better singers.
bb… Indonesian language and Malay language are quite identical. You can say that the Indonesians are singing in Indonesian in some sense.
Both the song is so different in style, but if I have to choose one to be played during the Olympic Games, I would prefer this one… I think it’s more fitting the Olympic spirit. The other one sounds more like a tourism promotion song lol.
woo….Olympics is getting nearer…but what happened to China now…i hope even, if it will surely affect the upcoming event, it will turn out to be fine especially for the delegates…Prayer works…
aww.. really nice, make me proud to be Malaysian.. a good job indeed!
a few Sabahans as well.. Yazer, Nikki, Estranged..etc
