I can understand the 'perfect' usage. Non native English speakers tend to use some words at the beginning and ending of the sentences because we are sometimes not comfortable to let it end naturally. I often use some words like 'well', 'obviously' etc... couldn't help. Oh and true about the girls part... he did mention about it quite often lately. bb... well, language is something that needs continuous practice to improve. So, it's good to see him trying, because it's the only way he can improve. Girl's ability to cook is not that relevant these days... lots of guys can cook better than girls, and we kinda accept the reality that lots of girls can't cook.
