That’s show how low her level is.It could happen to any country , GLOBAL WARMING is the main reason.PLs dun mixed Natural Disaster wif politics n spirituallity wif politics.Pls dun rub salt on their wounds ,it really hurts. To me is just a test n they will stronger for sure.If u hv to go u just hv to go.

  2. Lily on May 27th, 2008 at 11:03pm

what she is saying isn’t right cuz like betty said a natural disaster could happen anywhere but Sharon Stone has really tried to be an advocate against the war in Darfur and since China sells weapons to the Darfurians to kills other Darfurians with, she saw this as an eye for an eye.

  3. zewt on May 27th, 2008 at 11:24pm

she is a friend of the dhalai llama? no kidding…

i wonder how will the chinese react to that kinda statement…

karma…. US aint an angel either.

  4. Emilie on May 28th, 2008 at 1:32am

She shouldn’t have spoke about her thoughts if they were negative. With thousands of deaths and injuried how can she say such a thing?
The states in the US have been suffering over several big tornados and wildfires that has ruin thousands of people’s lives is that “karma?”

  5. Anonymous on May 28th, 2008 at 1:41am

Well, Sharon Stone is an idiot anyway…American or no American. She’s just typical of the out of touch showbiz mentality that buys into all the BS that liberal academia puts out there. Not all us westerners are that shallow minded,,,for sure. Sichuan is in a part of the word that suffers earthquakes from time to time. Nearby mountains etc are always an active part of geology. Places like California west of the rockies have been supseptible to the geologic activity in the past. And people used to say stupid karma stuff about San fransisco and places too.

Fact: the earth shifts and rearrages itself and earthquakes, volcanoes etc etc are all part of the process. It doesn’t care about “Karma” or any other superstitious stuff.

  6. banban on May 28th, 2008 at 2:22am

Sharon Stone is a pile of rubbish fresh, which only has some sense of fucking.

  7. banban on May 28th, 2008 at 2:30am

Ooo! A Great American! This great nation and great country often has some great heroes or heroines, such as Nancy Pelosy, Sharon Stone. Old women as they are, they are so righteous and bold that they dare to curse China and its people!

    Learn from the great Americans!

  8. Sun Chen on May 28th, 2008 at 4:26am

Extremely superficial and stupid Sharon Stone. THE FACT WAS: the minority ethinic group Qion(Chion) people may be wiped out by this eazthquake. Qion People, related to Mongonians sand Japanese, were chased away from China centraL PLAINS BY Han Chinese. They may be annihilated by this Beichuan Qusake!!!

  9. Anonymous on May 28th, 2008 at 5:20am

    FUCK YOU!!!
I do not want to call you BITCH!!
I do not want to call you WHORE!!
    You’re much more than that..
    Don’t worry,,STONE..
Chinese will forgive you after you eat dalai’s SHIT..(you know you want to do that)

  10. Anonymous on May 28th, 2008 at 7:52am

I don’t think Sharon Stone could have said anything more silly than that. If Karma against the Chinese Government’s politics is what made the quake happen, then why did it not hit square in the middle of the Beijing headquarters??? I’d say her bad Karma analagy was a little misplaced! Sharon Stone can take her karma and stick it where the sun don’t shine. Like I said, she doesn’t speak for all Americans or westerners, if any at all and probably not the Dali Lama either. The quake was a natural occurrence that unfortunatley and sadly took the lives of alot of people.

  11. Yein Jee on May 28th, 2008 at 9:12am

zewt… Sharon Stone is indeed a friend of Dalai Lama. There are a few Hollywood stars that support the Tibetans call for freedom, Stone and Richard Gere etc.

Stone is very much on her own with her stupid thoughts. Even Dalai Lama had expressed his sympathy and praised Chinese government for their rescue effort.

Stone mentioned at later part of her interview that it’s something she needs to learn, to show more love instead of hatred… I hope she learn it fast.

  12. Anonymous on May 28th, 2008 at 10:23am

    stupid pig, fuck you

sorry I will say good by to Dior

  13. bb on May 28th, 2008 at 11:34am

i think the reason why the chinese reporter interviewed the reporters from the other countries about her comment is because we all know what she said was wrong, disrespectful and just nonsense.
and i just hate her attitude when she talked.
i mean, how much is she involved in politics and how much does she even know about the complicated issue in Tibet?
innocent people are dying and suffering and she says they deserve it.
    and omg, she also swore…
chinese people will remember what she said…for a long time.
the innocent chinese people doesn’t deserve this horrible disaster, no one does…
it was just an unfortunate occurrence.

  14. Wannabe Economist on May 28th, 2008 at 12:09pm

What happened in Sichuan was purely natural disaster, and shes really making it personal by bringing in personal feud and hatred towards the matter, it’s without substance.

  15. aboyfromChina! on May 28th, 2008 at 12:32pm

I am glad to see most of the forigener are kind!
but we can stand one celebrity say a earthquake is a krama !
more than 80000 people died or missing!
and you hava no idea how many people lost their home!

  16. Emily on May 28th, 2008 at 3:16pm

I have been crying every day since the earthquake happened, though I have no relatives or friends who died in the disaster. I can’t imagin what kind of people she is to say such vicious words.

  17. kyon on May 28th, 2008 at 3:50pm

i am so disappointed with sharon stone. dalai lama will be ashamed for having this friend.

  18. cliveden on May 28th, 2008 at 6:11pm

While it is silly to respond to a bimbo, the issue proves one thing —– an evil master has an evil follower.

What Sharon Stone said was evil. This makes her master the Da Lai lama even more evil — Dwelling on ignorant bimbos and others like her.

One look around the followers of the Da Lai, one would clearly see the standard of intellects reflected.

  19. Wentworth on May 28th, 2008 at 6:21pm

    Right to the point!

It is always the evil master that produces evil followers.

People should study Tibetant history and find out more about the slave system the lamas built their comfortable life on until 1956 when the PLA truly and liverally liberated the people of Tibet to being human beings with rights.

Its a joke, Western ignorant people put the Da Lai lama together with human rights, what an irony! He wants to control Tibet so he can go back to enslaving them.

    WAKE UP!

  20. Cute on May 28th, 2008 at 6:36pm

What Sharon Stone said represents a sizable right wing white mentality. They don’t even care about their own disasters let alone an earthquake in China.

They are anti-Chinese because they are anti anyone who is not white.

Crocodile tears were shed when China was poor. Now China is strong, they hate China even more. It used to be the hate of the Chinese government, now they hate the Chinese people because suddenly it has dawned on them, the Chinese people are behind its govenment.

Wow, that is just too scary for them to accept!

SS is not alone, she just spoke out like a true ignorant starlet. Da Lai is a an evil fox. He speaks through her and thinks he does not have to carry any responsibility. Yet, he is also a puppet of the China hating White population.

Well, too bad for them. Through the unfortunate events of 2008, China has never been so united as it is now. It’s all these negativeness from the outside, particularly the West, has enforced this unity. Anger is a truly strong energy force.

  21. Discovery on May 28th, 2008 at 6:39pm

Sharon Stone stands for SS. I rest my case!

  22. Sharon Stone'shit on May 28th, 2008 at 8:47pm

I am a chinese persson in Shanghai. As i know,The dhalai llama is a terrorist in people” mind.Because he did some terrible things in sichuan ,even shanghai .If people in US can”t accept the man bombed NY,why some people in foreign countries intend to force chinese people accepting a terrorist - dhalai llama . U said the earthquake in sichuan was a ” karma” ,and I say the terrible ” 911″ was a rellay ” karma” of Us politices.
NOw stone ,U are our enemey ,because U are dhalai llama ” friend.

The earthquake in sichuan has killed billions of people .The chief instigator is the natural disaster, not our goverment.people in sichuan are immaculate.so,r U coldblooedness,or not a human being?

  23. Anonymous on May 28th, 2008 at 9:17pm

I have to tell you the truth that many Tibetans are suffering in this earthquake, since they are large population of Tibetans migarants staying in Sichuan! She is just toooo ignorant. She is just trying to show us how stupid she is!

  24. Anonymous on May 28th, 2008 at 9:37pm

what an evil bitch…stone whore ,you went way too far this time…

  25. Yein Jee on May 28th, 2008 at 9:56pm

Fellas… what Sharon said was stupid, but some of you need to learn the lesson as well and not to be drawn into the same category as she is.

Not jumping into her defend, but some of the comments here showed why Sharon could be so pissed with the Chinese.

  26. bb on May 29th, 2008 at 9:21am

i know this is irrelevant, but i feel kind of awkward now because i found out sharon stone and i have the same birthday. man, this makes me feel i am connected to her, but in an indirect way…
but anyway, i’ve been watching some videos regarding this issue on youtube and some of them showed very strong opinions on sharon stone’s comment.
and i’m glad that there are quite a few non-chinese people who are giving full support to the chinese people.
i agree with Cute that because of the unfortunate events that occurred in china this year, the chinese people have became more united than ever.
i also read that some big cinemas in china announced that they will not be playing any of sharon stone’s film in the future because of what she said.

  27. rea., on May 29th, 2008 at 1:01pm

to think that what happened to china was purely “karma”,.,.is disgusting/.,.how could SS aptly put it that damn way!! how dare her!! if you don’t have anything good to say.,.then just shut your mouth inside the microwave oven,ok!! any one who would like to imitate her,.,go! get in the microwave!!.,.,stop putting all the blame on china.,.did they want something like that to happen?.,.are they jolly of what had befallen on them?.,.hey! do wake! and put aside all the political redundancies for the time being… why not just be sympatethic and “GROW SOME HEART” there, huh!

  28. Lily on May 29th, 2008 at 2:01pm

Of course, she can have her political viewpoint. However, most of all, she should have humanness. According to her logic, does she also mean that the Katrina Hurricane was the karma of the U.S. policy on Iraq War? The only explanation of her cold speech is that she is not a human being.

By the way, it is illiberal and foolish to comment on the Tibet issues when you do not know the past and now of Tibet. How can you draw a whole picture of Tibet when you have never been there and have never talked to the ordinary Tibetans who are now living there? Dalai can only tell you what he wants you know!

  29. Lily on May 29th, 2008 at 2:35pm

Has Dalai told the world how terrible things he has done? He practised Slavery wheh he dominated Tibet. The elder Tibetans may tell you how horrific life they had in that period. If you visit Tibet, you may have chance to see the appliance making of human tissues such as skins, bones, that were used by the slaveholders in the past.

  30. great Chinese on May 30th, 2008 at 12:18am

Sharon Stone:You are just a total cunt that nobody wanna fuck!Wait and see who the fuck will get the karma

  31. Anonymous on May 30th, 2008 at 4:03am

Cute, try not to put yourself in the same catagory as SS.

  32. Anonymous on May 30th, 2008 at 8:05am

In the past, I thought sharon stone was a good actress, but now I change my idear. A lot of people lost their lives , including many studens, whichi is miserable. Sharon stone’ speech makes me sick

  33. Neal on May 30th, 2008 at 12:00pm

What a “Karma”, the fact is, 20% of the population in the quake zone are dalai’s supporters. The “Karma” towards Chinese government or “One of my best friends?”

When the we, human group were worrying about the lives after the disaster. The great spiritual leader suddenly disappeared from the media where he use to pops-up all the time. When the Chinese Leaders were trying to make their best effort to save more lives after the earthquake, the spiritual leader’s “great friend” was complaining about them with her “Karma” statement. Stone, you are so “lovely”. Hopefully, this could be ranked as “top ten ironic thing in this century”

  34. ketty on May 31st, 2008 at 7:42pm

what a terrible scence after earthquake!you know how manypeople lost their homes, how many children losttheir parents

  35. achinesegirl on May 31st, 2008 at 10:06pm

i don’t like dalai lama at all! i’m from southern part of sichuan, imagine that stupid fake monk wants to control 2/3 of my hometown, he will treat us as slaves! so, to fight for my freedom, i’m willing to die for it!
I’m proud of my country, she’s progressing everyday!

  36. anon. on June 2nd, 2008 at 5:14am

I’m American and currently teaching oral English and living in Shenzhen, China (Southeastern China right across from Hong Kong.) In response to someone’s question about wondering how the Chinese will respond to her comment, well one of the 6th grade students that I tutor discussed Sharon Stone’s comment with me and her reaction to it. She commented that she hates Sharon Stone and the Chinese people do not accept Sharon Stone’s apology. I don’t blame Chinese people at all for not accepting her apology or believing in the sincerity of her apology b/c of the gravity of the situation and the complete insensitivity and inappropriateness of her comment.

  37. rocky on June 2nd, 2008 at 10:01am

“The day behaves badly, disobeys probably; From behaving badly, cannot live. ”
Now I think it is the time to KARMA for you!

  38. yellowpaint94 on June 2nd, 2008 at 10:59pm

let the karma do it for her…she should have think gazellions of times before commenting on such a sad situation…she should be thankful she’s on the other part of the globe and all we can do is express our feelings…i’m not a chinese…

  39. Jenny on June 4th, 2008 at 3:22pm

China has a history of 5000 years and people who know nothing about it should not comment on what is right and what is wrong, especially those filthy rich brainless celebrites in the Hollywood who live their previleged life build on other entertaining people. They should know that they are only actors who know very little about China and world. They’s better to shut up on something they do not really understand. But they never learn! They are so obsorbed in their own little world and feel so good about themselves, almost like they the God! Dalai Lama is a Feudal dictator who are now using the western people trying to regain his dictatorship by misleading the westerners into an illussion he carefully made. Without him, there will be more peace in this world. Shame on you Sharon Stone, Shame on you Dalai Lama!

  40. rea., on June 5th, 2008 at 2:43pm

she just apologized becaue of the flood of bad responses about what she had just said.,.,but i don’t think she mean it at all,.,it is easy to just say things, you know.,.and she just wanna impress the press how “kind”.,.,she is/./.that teaches her a lesson /.,.

  41. Yein Jee on June 5th, 2008 at 3:20pm

Frankly, Chinese people needs to learn to let go. It was just a stupid comment, and it has been over a week… just let it go.
