Super Junior-M, the 3rd subgroup for popular Korean boy band Super Junior, have made their official debut on March 8 at the 8th Annual Light Music Awards in China, together with the launch of their first official music video, “U” (below).
Also known as Suju-M or SJ-M (M for mandarin), the new group is aimed to penetrate the Chinese market. SJ-M consist of original Suju member Han Geng, Donghae, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Siwon and two new Chinese members, Henry & Zhou Mi.
This spin-off has created lots of debates, with some Suju fans protesting against the additional members (the original Suju already have 13). At the moment it seems like the new members are not part of the original Super Junior, but I am not sure about this… can’t find the official news to clarify the matter.

Ya, I’m always confused with who’s who in Suju.
The same company (SM Entertainment) has introduced a girls group last year with 9 members (Girls’ Generation), seems like the many-members-strategy is working well for them.

it’s okay about the adding of 2 members in the SJM but ! SUPER JUNIOR is really consist 13 original member ! namely. LEETEUK, HANKYUNG, RYEWOOK, SIWON, DONGHAE, SUNGMIN, KYUHYUN, KIBUM, YESUNG, KANGIN, SHINDONG, EUHNYUK and HEECHUL ! no addition only in sub groups. hihihihih :D
