Super GT’s pit walkabout is a special period where visitors (with extra passes) were allowed to visit the pit-lane to catch a closer look of the race cars, the drivers and the GT race queens. Some pit photos below, taken on Saturday (June 21) at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia, where the 4th round of Super GT race was held…

But frankly, most of the people were there to ‘interact’ with the Japanese race queens;
Unsurprisingly most of the visitors that paid for the walkabout pass were guys

Would be nice if the organiser could limit the number of visitors; it was way too crowded

    Racing truly is a ’spectator sport’ .Forget the drivers. The race queens are what’s important to look at, lol.

    kyon… no worries, more updates later. Not sure who the reporter is.

    Anon#5… the race queens alone have attracted a big crowd, that’s for sure. Lots of the Malaysian spectators are not familiar with the drivers at all and were simply there for the queens. However, there were a large crowd of Japanese at the race too, and they were obviously more fond of the drivers than the queens. I guess both the racers and the queens co-exist for a good reason.
