Photos from the pit walkabout of Super GT Malaysia 2008 at SIC on Saturday (June 21). Pit walkabout is a session where pass holders were allowed to visit the pit-lane to catch a closer look at the race cars, drivers and race queens…

Re Amemiya team driver Hiroyuki Iiri with ORC RQs Yamauchi Chie (L) and Maika Misaki

Frankly, most of the people were there to ‘interact’ with the Japanese race queens;
unsurprisingly most of the visitors that paid for the walkabout pass were guys

Would be nice if the organiser could limit the number of pass holders… it’s way too crowded

Race cars that not many visitors would care about, which is a pity because some of
these cars look really cool… and Super GT is an auto race after all

MOLA team drivers Kazuki Hoshino and Hironobu Yasuda and race queens (L-R) Izumi Morita,
Risa Kobayashi, Yayoi Uehara and Rika Gotou (another pic of Mola RQ here)

won the Sunday GT500 race with Brazilian co-driver JPL de Oliveira

the race queens are hot!!!! i want more!!! :p
the news reporter is pretty too! do you know her name???
why those pit babes are so hots ?
makes me horny
haha
Racing truly is a ’spectator sport’ .Forget the drivers. The race queens are what’s important to look at, lol.
kyon… no worries, more updates later. Not sure who the reporter is.
Anon#4… the race queens alone have attracted a big crowd, that’s for sure. Lots of the Malaysian spectators are not familiar with the drivers at all and were simply there for the queens. However, there were a large crowd of Japanese at the race too, and they were obviously more fond of the drivers than the queens. I guess both the racers and the queens co-exist for a good reason.
Nice pictures. I love the local babes more, because I can’t talk Japanese mah… wakaka.
LOL, those race girls were really something else! I managed to pose with one too, on the track – that’s something to remember, for me :-) http://flickr.com/photos/davidchinphoto/2612991266/
@ kyon: the reporter is Yuriko Saga from Tokyo TV.
