Wow, South Korea has gone so ‘hollywood’ in recent years. Much of Asian entertainment seems to be headed that way these days. As we say in the west, “Times they are a changing” lol. This globalization of the world cultures and economies etc is very interesting to watch.

Anon… it’s about money. A slightly popular star in Hollywood would probably earn more than a top star in Korea.
I agree, it’s definitly about money. It’s about celebrity also. I wasn’t neccesarily comparing Korea exactly to the US but rather the whole red carpet, starstruck mentality is very similar. I guess what I’m trying to point out is all the western style ‘bigger than life’ glitz and glamour surrounding these celebrities in their respective parts of the world.

Some of the times the red carpet is the real battlefield… beauty and fashion that is. Lots of the times the red carpet even get more attention than the awards lol.
The ladies were really gorgeous and very fashionable….They exude such good personality…….hehehe
With all the hard work they do to entertain us, the least we can do is give them the 30 sec fame they deserve.
