The third season of The Amazing Race Asia (TARA) is set to premier on September 11 on AXN-Asia. The franchisee of the popular US reality TV show is growing in popularity across Asia since making its debut in late 2006 and is back for good.

Regardless, the strategy seems to work well for AXN. The likes of Thai actress Paula Taylor and Pinoy model Marc Nelson have gained vast interest for the previous race… thus it’s not surprising to see that TARA-3 is loaded with celebs’ participants yet again.
Among the notable celebrities in Season 3 are Malaysian TV hostess Bernie Chan, actress Ida Nerina, Filipino model Geoff Rodriguez and Thai beauty queens Natalie Glebova & Pailin Rungratanasunthorn etc.
The fun part about The Amazing Race Asia is the variety of participants from different nations. The 2008 teams are from Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea (debut) and Thailand; whereas the Indonesian, Japanese and Australian teams are missing in action this season. Allan Wu again the host.
Show Recaps
I’ll be doing some unconventional recaps for the show… I’ll not go into the race details, but taking the chance to introduce some interesting cultural stuff and travel destinations along with the Amazing Race journey instead. Should be cool…

the thai chicks are hot!!! who do you think will win this time. i think the koreans look fittest.
I am really bad with predictions lol. I’ll go with Geoff and Tisha, the Phil team… they look fierce.
wow koreans?!? cool :D fighting!
I want to support team from Indonesia. But no Indonesian team in TARA3. Thailand team very hot and pretty but I don’t think they can follow this race easily because they are too cute to do the task..
fety… well, the producers would be hoping them to go as far as possible.
I have to say the most consistent team so far is Ida and Tania. No pressure. They just beat everybody ass. Go Ida, Go Tania! Mai and Oliver is also my favorite team. =p
so many wonderful places I want to travel….can you please introduce some of your traveling prpject? wow…
Jack… I’ve been to Vietnam and Taiwan in 2008; planning for a long China trip in 2009. You have to know your specific interest before planning your own travelling project… for example, are you interested in adventure, or culture, or nature, or historical or food etc.
