Daniel Henney’s Three Rivers cancelled

American-Korean actor Daniel Henney’s soaring career suffers a setback as his debut American prime time series Three Rivers is axed by CBS.

American Korean actor Daniel Henney in Three Rivers

Henney co-starred with Alex O’Loughlin, Katherine Moennig and Christopher Hanke in the medical drama which premiered on October 4, but is suspended indefinitely after just eight episodes into showing due to poor ratings.

Well, there’s always second chance for Daniel Henney; and if all else failed in the US, the Koreans are likely to welcome him again with open arms.

The show was wonderful and many of my friends and coworkers watched the 2 episodes that actually started at 9:00 p.m. NFL football postponed the show so late that the other episodes were missed. The time slot was the problem, not the show. This past Sunday (12/6/09), it would have actually started right at 9:00 p.m. and all of us fans were looking for it only to discover that it has been cancelled. Please reconsider, CBS.

I cannot believe what TV has come to. I truly enjoyed the show Three Rivers and it gets cancelled while the stupid, set up reality junk stays on. There is nothing entertaining about people living in a house and seeing who is going to get kicked off next or surviving in a country where other people live. To me that is a mockery of the people that do live there. Or, the amazing race. Listening to the teammates make bitebacking remarks about the other teams. I can listen to that junk at work. I want THree Rivers Back

I worked with Dan on a photo shoot in Chicago a few years back when he was modeling. A super genuine guy and a true talent. I’m so sorry to hear about TR, but I’m sure there are many, many more good things in store for him.

I couldn’t agree more, this show was fabulous- figures they cancelled it- it was a about real people not people who will do anything just to get their faces on tv for 15 minutes. Maye it was too good for today’s viewers- gee now we can all go back to watching Wipe out! So much more intelligent don’t you think?
