English subbed music video of “8282″ by Korean pop duo Davichi, from their “Davichi in Wonderland” mini album released in February 2009. The pronunciation of 8282 is similar to “Hurry Hurry” in Korean; the song is a huge hit in Korea at the moment…
I like the ballad part of the song; the transition into chorus sounds awkward at first, but became acceptable after listening for a few times… a decent song overall.
The MV has an interesting storyline, but doesn’t fit well with the song imo. The plot was a bit odd (and probably disturbing) at the middle, but kinda make sense in the end… I’ll explain a bit more about the video in the comment to avoid spoiler.

If you watch the MV till the end, you might have realised that all the earlier stuff were hallucinations. The boy, probably mentally ill, thought he’s strong (superpower like), likeable by friends, smart etc. but it’s the opposite in reality.
The teacher does care for the kid, and the kid became affectionate to her; not sure if it’s in the motherly or romantic way… perhaps a bit of both.
In the end the kid was trying to stop the train, thinking that the teacher was cheering for him when she was actually crying for help. The story will continue in their next promotional track (MV).

i think the song just ok, but i like the girls vocal, very powerful, and very good on downbeats too.
i think the teacher really cares for the kid, not like what he imagined but in the end i think we can see that she is concerned for the kid.

Part two has already been released. It’s her take on the situation. Ends with the same thing. her screaming for help. and that idiotic kid thinking he can stop that frikin train like he’s Hancock or something. haha. I do wonder if he died or not. And if she died too. Because if you watch, that teacher’s standing on the tracks in front of the car also. She’s not standing on the side, but right behind him. Wonder if they died. Probably. I feel bad for her bf too.
