Additional info:

This film only cost RM4 million to make, a far cry from Pixar's usual RM90mil budget. As of two weeks after its release, it had reached RM4.1 mil in box office sales, very much on the way to the RM10mil target. I really hope they can negotiate extra screenings during the school holidays. Geng will be in Indonesia in September; while they're looking for exposure in Singapore and Brunei, they've received orders from Latin America, India and Korea! W00t! Besides already planning an English dub for the Anglophone markets - while I wonder whose voice is cutest for Upin & Ipin, I'd suggest Masi Oka for the role of Lim, don't ask me why. :P

Don't forget to watch the Upin & Ipin shorts on www.youtube.com/upinipinlcp as well. I like it when they show the voice actors' faces! This inspires my desire to know the names of the local voices behind the anime and Nicktoons on local TV soon, by editing the opening/closing sequences.
