   :D that’s the chinese new year song! my dad always plays that along with some other old chinese new year songs. my favorite time of the year. everybody is so happy and the red pockets :)

   i don’t love cny songs, but they really do bring up the atmosphere, like christmas songs.
   this one by sam hui is a classic.
   what i like best about chinese new year is the red pockets (so glad that i’m still getting them) and the sense of belonging to the chinese nation.
   i love how everyone becomes so polite and cheerful towards one another when this special event comes.
