Japanese gravure idol Chinatsu Wakatsuki is selling T-shirts with her semi-nude image for fund-raising to build a school in India.
The 24-year-old idol was hoping to sell at least 3000 T-shirts at 2000 yen each to raise 6 million yen (USD67k) for the cause… and her goal was easily achieved just days after her intention was made public.
There are criticism that it’s a publicity stunt, which might be true. Regardless, she is contributing to the society in her own way, which is probably more than most average persons will ever do… kudos for that.

she can sell 300000 if she move away her hands :p
seems like mostly men will buy it.
but maybe not much will actually wear it…? probably just gonna keep it as a collection.
the design looks quite plain to be honest.
as long as it does good to the society, it’s okay.
people only buy it if they want to.
but i wonder if the indian kids will know about this after the school is built. =P
I have read some reports about the sales, and there’s lots of ladies that bought the T-shirts. Some of the idols actually have a large female fanbase who adores their lifestyles and fashion senses.
