There are 1 million industrial robots around the world (as of Dec 2008), and Japan has the highest density with 295 robots for every 10,000 manufacturing workers.

    I doubt anyone would be surprised that Japan is on top… I was a bit surprised though, that Singapore actually came second on the chart.

    you should visit singapore and see. labor cost so high here, and population low… we need a lot of machines and robots to replace the human labor.
