Music video of “I Love You”, an English song by Taiwanese singer Joanna Wang from her debut album “Start From Here”, released in early 2008. It’s a cover of David Tao’s mandarin song, “Love is Simple”…

Joanna’s unique voice has been a revolution to Chinese music market; the album was quite a hit and if not mistaken, among the top five best selling albums of the year in both Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Despite the success, the singer has in a few occasions mentioned that she’s not a fan of the album, because it was not showing her true self.

Her subsequent album, “Joanna & Wang Ruo Lin”, which was released in January 2009 is supposedly showing more of her capability not just as a singer, but also a songwriter with her own ideas; will share something about in future.

Unique voice, and she has talent for sure, but imo she’s just like alot of western singers these days…trying to sound all bluesy and black. For me it’s just a little too cliche. JMO

cole… from westerner’s perspective, her unique is less apparent for sure, as there are many artists who can do jazz or blues very well. For Asians, she’s really special.

What attitude problem? She might be a bit outspoken, which might offend some people… but other than that, haven’t heard much about an attitude issue.
