Chinese music video “Compromise” (妥协) from Taiwanese diva Jolin Tsai’s latest album, “Butterfly”. Popular actor Ethan Ruan co-starred in the MV…

The song is about how the girl compromised on almost everything to keep her lover, but still ended up losing him… and probably losing her inner self.

    pretty decent song to me.
the lyrics describe the title well.

ethan ruan is so frickin cute!!! i don’t understand taiwanese but if the song is about what you described then all girls should listen to it and take heed! no one should compromise who they are for someone or something else…of course, unless it’s for a higher being like God or Buddha. :P

I think that jolin wiped all the colours off because she didnt know anymore who she really was. so she couldnt find der real self anymore although she was searching for it.

I’m a guitarist from Montreal, Canada, and I been in Asia for 4 months now, and I’m just amazed of the quality of pop music here! This song is great, it’s so clever musically and has got a lot of chords which I love :)
