The difference between a regular working office girl and a popular actress is money and fame. People who go into the industry have a choice to become someone's property and be famous or to keep on trying until they are recognized( which is basically a hard way out). So most of them choose the easy way out.i.e becoming "someone's property". Life is a choice. These actresses make these choice knowingly. Unfortunately they can't live with their choices and commit suicide.
No body could force her to do what she doesn't want to do. Then it would be rape. But it wasn't. She gave up something for something she wanted. I still am unable to understand why she is so pitied, when there are millions of orphans in countries of Africa with nothing to eat or how to live are not sympathized so much. Atleast, she was an adult.

No surprise that the cops are back tracking. They are guttless when it comes to this sort of thing. That CEO who ordered a guy smacked over got community service instead of a prison term and here the entertainment big shots have swept things under the rug with more bribes.

Unless there are new evidences, I doubt the police will release any names based on the suicide note itself.

this story has actually made the American newspapers today. It says her suicide note has brought alot of interest in questioning the Korean entertainment industry and how many in the Korean industry act like the performers are "their property" and they can do what they want with them like forcing them to have sex with executives. It talked about how the Korean military also historically has this mentality of ownership as well.

The police are currently trying to extradite back to Korea another one of her ex-managers who is living in japan for additional questioning. It's unfortunate, but her suicide and the note she left is going to expose the entertainment bosses and their evil ways. The executives naturally are being very quiet.

If not mistaken she was found dead by her sister at home (they stayed together)... there's probably no wrong-doing about the death itself.

death solves nothing. if the rumors are true, she can only tell the story if she is alive.

Sounds like the authorities might have been offered a pay off by the execs in the entertainment industries. And they actually think people are too stupid to know that stuff goes on these days?? Life can be such a big lie sometimes. People talk and talk idealistically about justice all the time. But sometimes it's all just manipulated for the public eye. People need to wake up.

you know what this reminds me of?

Comfort Women of WWII and the Japanese government who still denies this.

One death (suicide) statement is too many - I pray that Yoo won't be the next - he looks like he’ll be squashed any minute… I also begin to worry that the first officer at the initial Police conference may take a hit in his head… poor guys for speaking the truth

If these bad guys were let fly at the end, eventually the entire K-entertainment industry (possibly the K-broadcasting industry) will be a living hell.

K-police, you can do better.

May justice be revealed at the end.

If you want to become Yoo Jang-ho’s guardian angel, please sign up at this Facebook group:

Too bad. Koreans need to get a handle on this suicide thing. They're getting to be known for that now.

Also, no surprise that there might have been some sexual abuse involved by the entertainment execs. People don't realize just what a bunch of worthless scum most of those rich overpaid happy entertainment folks are. Many Entertainers have always had to sleep their way to success to some extent or another despite their talent. It's such a dog eat dog and money world in that business and it's not monitored very closely if at all. I can only imagine what goes on in the Asian end of it much less the western world.
