Now that’s the kind of Graffiti that’s nice to look at.
I have been down to that area of the city where the “murals” are. Tai Dong has many of its apartment building painted in these colorful and sometimes strange colors. Nothing of them smacks me of graffiti and some of them give you the impression that the local government commissioned the work so as not to portray anything to controvercial.

P.S. Now that the olympics are gone, go look at these “works of art” now that the worlds eyes have turned away from Qingdao. I was there recently and many of the murals are faded, covered in grime and in poor condition.
Hek… thanks for the word; I didn’t know this “mural” word actually exist lol, and it’s the much more appropriate word to use instead of graffiti. I’ll make some changes :)
