SM Entertainment, one of Korea’s largest talent management agencies, is kicking off its 09′ global audition on February 14th in its home ground, with plans to extend the audition to China, Japan, South East Asia, Canada and USA etc.
SM is looking for various talents in singing, acting, dancing, modelling etc. It’s said that all Asians are welcome regardless of nationality and age… but I doubt they would want a 40-year-old veteran lol.

Nov 22 – Toronto Korean Center, Toronto
Nov 22 – Executive Plaza Hotel, Vancouver

1. Singer – prepare 1 or 2 songs which you can sing without accompaniment. Please make sure that you are confident in your song selection and that the song fits best to your voice.
2. Dancer – Free Style Dancing, CD to be submitted to the reception desk on the audition date by the applicant. (If you do not bring any CD for dance, random music will be played.)
3. Actor – Impromptu Acting, memorized monologue to be prepared by applicant.
4. Model – Free posing. (5 or more)
5. Producer/Composer (Writer) – Producer/Composer (Writer) Demo CD or written music to be brought by the applicant.

heyyyy.. rio’s back. lol. our newspaper. hahaha. i just heard that yoona is also suing sm for the “lifetime contract”. poor sm. and seeing how junsu, yoochun and jaejoong won the battle, does that mean the contract is shortenend and they’re still under sm (if sm wants them) or they plan to move to another entertainment company? rio or yeinjee may have news on that?

Yoona didn’t sue SM, but is asked to attend the court as a witness in TVXQ’s case.
The trio has won partially, that they are free to do whatever they want individually until the final verdict. Nothing is mentioned yet on the length of contract, nothing is determined on the profit sharing, and the trio is still effectively under SM contract.
Nobody can tell what will happen next; SM is giving them one last chance at the moment, but there’s a high possibility that the trio will leave the company after reaching a settlement with the company… if that happens, it’s likely that TVXQ is going to be disbanded as the other two members have decided to back SM.
awwhh… really. but arent they like the number one boy band in asia or something? it would hurt A LOT of fans cuz i think they have like over a million people in their fanbase. and imagine. i million girls boycott against sm. hm..
but isnt their plan to stay as dbsk even though they’re not under the same company? and what will happen to yoona for witnessing?

hehehe yea i thought the auditions had already past. ugh my brain is getting fried with the auditions and exams and a 45 minute speech i have to do all in the next 2 weeks. god. not to mention im recording a lil cover with sassy. ugh god ive got so much on my plate atm.
OMGGGGGG i got a reply today!!! they emailed me the ‘ticket’ for the global auditions XDXDXDXD i’ve been waiting for..forever ha ha ha. except it says 4:45pm o.o should’ve sent the application earlier ><

Okii I’ll post them one by one~
1. For global auditions, can you try-out for more than one thing or do you just have to stick to one? For example, if you are singing, you can’t go for acting?
2. If you are auditioning for singing, do you have to dance afterwards?
3. If you have a dance group and you choreographed a routine, can you perform all together in front of the judges? or just freestyle by yourself?
4. What if you know only basic Korean? Do you have to speak in Korean to the judges?
5. Will you have an advantage, if you sing a Korean song?

to anonymous: i sent my first email (audition+application mix) on Oct 24..
then after waiting for a while..i decided to JUST send the application info on Nov 2
and today (Nov 4) they replied me with the ‘ticket’
i’m not sure which one they replied to (the first email or the second one) but i’m guessing the FIRST one i sent on Oct 24..because most other people received their tickets around 12 days after as well.

1.you can only audition for 1 unless they ask you to stay and wanna see you do something else because they have to get through everyone auditioning
