SM Entertainment, one of Korea’s largest talent management agencies, is kicking off its 09′ global audition on February 14th in its home ground, with plans to extend the audition to China, Japan, South East Asia, Canada and USA etc.
SM is looking for various talents in singing, acting, dancing, modelling etc. It’s said that all Asians are welcome regardless of nationality and age… but I doubt they would want a 40-year-old veteran lol.

Nov 15 – Wilshire Plaza Hotel, Los Angeles
Nov 22 – Toronto Korean Center, Toronto
Nov 22 – Executive Plaza Hotel, Vancouver
Nov 27/28 – Korea Village, New York

1. Singer – prepare 1 or 2 songs which you can sing without accompaniment. Please make sure that you are confident in your song selection and that the song fits best to your voice.
2. Dancer – Free Style Dancing, CD to be submitted to the reception desk on the audition date by the applicant. (If you do not bring any CD for dance, random music will be played.)
3. Actor – Impromptu Acting, memorized monologue to be prepared by applicant.
4. Model – Free posing. (5 or more)
5. Producer/Composer (Writer) – Producer/Composer (Writer) Demo CD or written music to be brought by the applicant.

to Spring water: well id definitely wear something that makes you look good. or mayb also something thats very average but you make it look good. but id go for something that youd feel comfortable in but also looks really good. showing yourself off because they are probbaly also looking for how good you would look in photos and things anyway even if u rnt going to be a model because if they debut you, you will have to take photos anyway.
actually ignore what i just said. im thinking too far into this. just wear somehting warm if its cold. which it will be. most likely.

Spring water: Since you already got your ticket! Can you please help me with the format of the application? Do you have to put like the exact same thing written for the format or can you input extra info about yourself?
Oh and also do you have to include your experience?
when you audition for them, how do they know if you want to audition to be in a group or a solo singer?
to hitomi: oic..i thought you already bought a plane ticket to LA? well i hope everything works out for you..you can always just send in an application for ny, and if they don’t have enough time to reply, you can just go to ny and sign up there! hope to see you :D i still need to figure out my transportation over there ha ha.
to shyunkita: i put the format exactly as stated on the website. you can always add extra info, like your experience, if you want..but when you get to auditions, you have to fill out ANOTHER more detailed form anywayy. so if you really want to, you can.
