Bumped into this Korean restaurant last week by chance; was settling some stuff at a nearby bank and the restaurant was just a block away.

Top Spice Korean BBQ Restaurant, Bandar Puteri Puchong, Selangor

Cozy place, nice ambience. The restaurant specialises in Korean BBQ; but we ordered some simpler dishes instead, i.e. set meals with kimchi soup and bulgogi beef.

Most of the stuff in the photo were side dishes; the variety of side dishes is a common trait in Korean meals.

The food was great and filling. Didn’t expect much at the first place, but hidden gems were often found when we were least expecting it… ain’t so?

Bill came at RM50 (USD14) for two pax; not exactly cheap but probably worth coming back again.

Compared to the U.S. that’s really cheap.

    Nice phot YeinJee.

    I Luuuuuuuuuve Korean food.

Where I live, I go to Korea town and I always get Dolsot Bibimbap or a tofu stew. Side dishes are always included. Some places include yellow croaker fish. And they bring the ginger drink afterwards too.

The average for one of those two dishes here is US $8.95.

Different living standard… food is seemingly cheap here, but salary is relatively low as well lol.

    Love bibimbap too :)

That’s true, everywhere is different. Plus, there’s not that many korean places around, so I guess that’s the reason why it’s expensive.

korean food is also pretty pricey in canada.
but the good thing is korean food always makes me full and keep me interested with all those side dishes.
