Burmurry is a franchise in Seoul selling traditional Korean food, i.e. tteokbokki, odeng, sundae etc. There’s a branch nearby my hostel which I frequent…

Teokbokki and fried dumplings at Burmurry Seoul restaurant

I like their teokbokki. The rice cake is standard stuff, and it’s a matter of different spiciness and sweetness with the sauce, in which their version fits my taste.

The restaurant also sells fried dumplings and twigim aka batter-dipped-fried-stuff (squid, shrimp, vege etc.). It’s tempting to have some oily food once in a while lol.

Wow. I think I’d love to eat them once in a while. I wish could have a closer look so that I can see what’s in them. But I still want rice in my daily meal though. :-)

jenny… yupe, it’s good to eat in cold days. Can sweat a bit and warm the stomach.

jipp… not sure what ‘closer look’ you meant; it’s rice cake with chillies + fried dumpling with pork stuffing. Simple but pretty nice.
