Some Korean and international stars were asked about what “Seoul is…” to them. The interview videos are at least a few months old and most probably scripted. Featured celebs (according to sequence) are Rain, Daniel Henney, Hugh Jackman, Ruby Lin (Taiwan), Girls’ Generation, TVXQ and Super Junior…
For me, Seoul is… Expensive! I can echo most of the statements above; Seoul is indeed charming, beautiful, artsy, and with occasional surprises. But my first impression is on how expensive it is, in relativity to Malaysia at least.
I can enjoy decent lifestyle in my country knowing that there’ll be savings left in my account after each month. But for Seoul, I’ll have to think twice for each meal and work on my budget everyday. Thus, Seoul is… expensive lol.
