The fans of pop star Lee Teuk from boyband Super Junior (SuJu) and figure skating sensation Kim Yu-na are sending hate messages to each other on their personal blogs.

The ‘blog war’ started when Lee Teuk mentioned in a radio show that his request to exchange blogroll with Kim Yu-na’s Cyworld blog was rejected by the 16-year-old skating star… and SuJu’s fans began sending hate messages on Kim’s blog, and Kim’s fans retaliate.
As of the time of writing, the message board for SuJu and Kim Yu-na has been shut down temporarily.
SuJu’s fans are giving themselves a bad name really. About 2 months ago, some of the fans posted hatred message to a girl after a picture of her posing with one of Suju’s group members during a television show was spread on the internet… the girl was so depressed with all the harassment that she finally committed suicide.

A panda research centre in China’s Sichuan Province has found a way to generate revenue… by selling souvenirs made from panda’s dung.

Giant pandas’ faeces can be made into paper products (paper, puppets and brush pots etc.) after a recycling treatment that involves cleansing, pulping, whitening and drying. Some paper even bears the scent of fresh bamboo.
According to a researcher from the centre, the idea was inspired by a zoo in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where they recycled manure from pandas and elephants into souvenirs, which are quite popular.
“An adult panda produces about 20 kilograms of dung each day, hence dozens of bamboo-fed pandas in the Chengdu reserve produce up to 200 tonnes of excrement each year,” Huang Xiangming, a senior staff member at the reserve, was quoted as saying. [Crienglish]
