Birth place: Carson City, Michigan, USA
Height: 188cm
Profession: Actor and model

Daniel Henney Biography

Daniel’s father is an American of British (some say Irish) descent while her mother an American of Korean descent. He was a basketball player and attended colleges on scholarship; and admitted into University of Illinois at Chicago.

Daniel didn’t graduate from university though; he decided to quit his study and ventured into modelling in 2001 instead. He started modelling in Korea as well as some other Asian and European countries.

Daniel was already an established supermodel before making his acting debut in 2005… first in some cameo roles for “Hello Franceska”, before making his full debut with “My Lovely Sam Soon” the same year.

Sam Soon is the most popular Korean drama in 2005; although Daniel was starring as the supporting actor, his performance (and look) was widely notice.

Daniel then starred in another decent drama “Spring Waltz” in 2006; he also made his movie debut “Seducing Mr Perfect” but the movie didn’t perform very well on box office. His 2nd movie “My Father” (2007) did much better though.

Seducing Mr Perfect however revealed another of Daniel’s talent… singing. He sang the ending theme song together with Alex from boyband Clazziquai. I wouldn’t be surprised if Daniel managed to ink a recording deal and releases his album soon.

Nanaca Crash is a simple and interesting Japanese flash game, similar to the famous Penguin Tossing game but with a few extra twists. [Play here]

Online Flash Game, Nanaca Crash
Online flash game Nanaca Crash

The idea is simple, Nanaca is riding on the bike and bang onto Taichi making him flying into the air… the objective of the game is to send Taichi as far as possible. The initial strategy is to find the right angle and hit it as close to 100% as possible.

The extra twist is that Nanaca can boost the flight of Taichi using Aerial Boost; there are 3 chances for Nanaca to increase Taichi’s speed upwards and unlimited push downwards (but needs time to regenerate after each use). You can see the colour of the word AERIAL to determine which boost to use.

Besides, there are some characters on the road that could increase Taichi’s speed, or to slow it down, and ultimately stop it… it takes some time to understand this part though; perhaps you should leave it to chance and just enjoy the game.

My best record is 4339.80m 6279.86m… have fun!

Miss Korea 2006, Honey Lee modelling Hilfiger Denim Jeans; the photos will feature in coming issue of Korea’s InStyle magazine.

Honey represents Korea at the Miss Universe 2007 in Mexico City. I thought she had bright chance to win the event, but she didn’t perform too well at the Q&A section (the translator should take part of the blame) and finished as the 3rd-runner-up instead.

Anyway, Honey became a popular celebrity back in Korea. She landed a hosting position at Real Time TV Entertainment and is now involved in modelling. Considering her popularity… Honey is likely to star in some dramas/movies soon; she will have a bright future in the entertainment world.

China Airlines has painted over its name and logo on the wreckage of the passenger jet that caught on fire at Naha Airport, Okinawa on Monday (August 20).

After the accident, photographs and video footage of the jet continued to appear in news reports, and the company apparently painted over the name and logo to limit further damage to its image.

When questioned over the move, an official from the Taiwan-based airline said, “We followed international procedures. We do not have detailed information.”

Is it really necessary for China Airline to do so? Damage has already been done with so many photos and videos taken… their act could further damage their image for trying to cover up the fact. What’s the point?
