China has completed the construction of Hangzhou Bay Bridge on Tuesday (June 26). The bridge is the longest sea-crossing bridge (36km) in the world, and it connects Shanghai to Ningbo.

The Hangzhou Bay Bridge cuts the land distance between Ningbo and Shanghai by more than 120 kilometres. The bridge contains six lanes in both directions, which enable a travelling speed of 100 kilometres per hour. It has an expected life span of 100 years.
