Korean actress Lee Da-hae is trying a new look here… a sexy rock chick instead of her usual nice girl-next-door image.

Lee, famous for her play in TV drama “My Girl”, is recording a clip to promote the 2007 Mnet Korean Music Festival (MKMF) which she is co-hosting with comedian Shin Dong-yup on November 7. Lee sings the famous rock song “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” in the video clip. [K-popped]

Korean beauty Kim Hee-sun officially becomes Mrs. Park on Friday (Oct 19), following her wedding with businessman Park Joo-yung.

Congratulation Mrs. Park!

The private wedding was held at Seoul’s famous Sheraton Grande Walker Hill Hotel; with the attendance of around 200 friends and relatives of the newly wed. Song Yun-ah, Se7en, Choi Jin-sil, Park Han-byul, Park Eun-hye and Andre Kim were among the celebrities that attended the wedding.

Kim Yun-jin, the famous Korean actress from US TV series “Lost”, is making her comeback to Korean big screen with movie “Seven Days”.

Kim will play a successful lawyer who, in order to save her daughter, is pressured into defending a man who faces death penalty. The plot reminded me of Hollywood movie “The Juror” starring Demi Moore and Alec Baldwin… just that Demi Moore was playing as one of the jurors, while Kim as a lawyer.

Kim was already a popular actress in Korea before making her international fame with Lost. Her most successful film prior to Lost is probably “Shiri” (쉬리, Swiri) in 1999, which is her only movie that I have watched. She did very well.

Seven Days will be released on November 17. Below are some sneak peeks of the movie…

The Legend is a historical fantasy drama based on the epic story of the 19th king of Goguryeo in ancient Korean era. It is actor Bae Yong-joon’s first TV drama since the highly acclaimed series “Winter Sonata” in 2002.

The co-stars of Legend include Moon So-ri, Lee Ji-ah and Choi Min-soo etc.

I don’t really like Winter Sonata, but the melodrama still remains one of the most popular Korean dramas ever… a recent Japanese poll has chosen Bae (nickname Yon-sama by his fans) and his Sonata’s co-star Choi Ji-woo as the most popular Korean artists in Japan.
