In Omachi, 120 miles northwest of Tokyo, there is a fan club Omachi Jibachi Aikokai (Omachi digger wasps lovers group) that has teamed up with a local biscuit maker to create jibachi senbei, or digger wasp rice crackers. [Japansugoi]

Elderly wasp hunters from the village, who are mostly in their 80s, catch the insects in nearby forests, boil them in water, dry and sprinkle them over the cracker mix, which is then stamped by hot iron cracker cutters.

I think I can try one of this… it looks edible

Digger wasps are a kind of insect that can sting and paralyze other insects and feed on them.

First the F-Cup Cookies, here comes the tea… the same manufacturer is now offering a similar type breast enhancement substance beverage.

The tea has a breast enlarging herb pueraria mirifica (a plant found in Thailand and Myanmar) that might enhance boob size. I believe ladies (or some guys?) would need to drink a lot of tea to see any effect though.

Three tomatoes that have grown into a shape resembling a rabbit’s head have emerged as a hit in Fukuoka, Japan after popping up in the garden of a local resident. [Mainichi]

Every day, local residents have taken photographs of the “rabbit tomato” and commented on how cute it looks. For now, it looks unlikely to end up on anyone’s dinner plate.

“My heart just hops for joy when I look at it, and I could never eat it,” one local worker said.
