It’s official… Filipina sensation Charice will be joining American musical-comedy-drama Glee next season. The singer was rumoured last month that she’s joining the cast but the news was denied then; seems like things are settled now.
According to EW Charice will play as a foreign exchange student with amazing vocals, pretty much like who she is in real life.

I can see that the show is pretty popular with teenagers and young adults. I think Charice will do well in it.

It’s confirmed she will be in the show, but it’s not official whether she’s playing as a foreign exchange student (most likely though) or someone else.
