If not mistaken her current contract issue is because she is still tied to her ex-husband company. The divorce seems like a painful one, and the contract dispute probably needs a bit of time to be settled.
It would be a pity though if she’s doing this just for PR. She still has a decent fan base despite her ruined reputation. It’s funny sometimes to see her among the top on both the most liked and hated celebrity lists.
