Korean pop group Girls’ Generation has opened an official Facebook page and has garnered over one and a half million “likes” in 72 hours. As a start the staff has uploaded dozens of photos from the 2011 Girls’ Generation Tour which kicked-off in Seoul on July 23. You can checked the pics at the FB link or at Koreangirlsgroup.
SM Entertainment has also uploaded a couple of their Seoul concert performances on Youtube, including Sweet Talking Baby and the Korean version of Mr Taxi…
The schedule for their 2011 Tour has yet to be finalised. China and Taiwan are almost certain on the list due to past successes; and a few other Southeast Asian cities are also hot favourites. Would be interesting if they could make it outside of Asia too.
On the other story, the girls’ 2010 Japan photobook, Girls’ Generation 1st Photobook in Tokyo, is now available on iPad at $8.99. The iTune page is in Korean, but you can check the basic intro in English at the app-developer’s website.
