Korean actress Gu Hye-sun in Oct 2014 issue of Styler [Kr], a homemakers’ lifestyle magazine. She recently made (wrote, directed and starred in) a movie titled Daughter, which was screened at the Busan Int’l Film Festival (BIFF).
On an unrelated note, Korea needs to standardise how Korean words are spelled in English if they want to become a global power; at the moment it’s pretty messed up. They do have an official guideline published in early 2000’s but nobody seems to take it seriously.
For example the lady’s surname can be written as Ku, Koo, Gu and Goo. And there’re other words that are more complicated, for example tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) which can be written in a dozen ways. The Koreans are making it difficult to promote their culture with these confusions.
