English subbed trailer of “Iris”, one of the most anticipated Korean dramas of the year. The drama is said to base on 1998 blockbuster film “Swiri”, but I couldn’t see much resemblance beside the spy-action background.
Regardless, with a strong leading cast of Lee Byung-hun, Kim Tae-hee, Jung Jun-ho, Kim Seung-woo, Kim So-yeon and Big Bang’s T.O.P… the drama shows plenty of promises; and the teaser probably managed to reinforce the hype.
Felt sorry for Kim Tae-hee (beautiful lady with long hair) though; she’s trying so hard to prove herself as a good actress and not just with beautiful face; but yet again her role seems pretty flat and predictable.
On contrary co-actress Kim So-yeon has left a stronger impression with her character… could be interesting if the actresses are taking opposite roles instead.
Swiri was a really good movie. I haven’t seen that movie in forever. Is there a difference between Shiri and Swiri? It was spelled with a “h” when I saw it.

the trailer is coooooool. i agree with you on kim tae hee, she is not a bad actress but she needs better roles, maybe its a manager’s fault, but she needs something new, not just her trademark teardrops from her beautiful eyes.

kim so yeon is sexy and talented actress. i like kim tae hee too (so pretty) but seem like kim so yeon is over kim tae hee in this drama.
Let me modify. Kim-so-yeon’s acting is not good as other casts. Her acting is monotone. She has the gloomy face throughout drama. Kim So-yeon fails to impress with her character.
Kim Tae Hee’s acting is better than kim so yeon.
