Malaysia government is cracking down on anti-government bloggers recently. Government leaders are calling bloggers names like liars, monkeys, goblok (means stupid) and pondan (guys without balls) etc.
Well, the name calling is really nothing considering that the government is using all kind of lousy acts to take action against some bloggers without solid proof.
I am not sure I should be scared of what the government is doing. I did blog about Malaysian issues occasionally at my old blog, and I am writing a lot more frequent recently about Malaysia’s social political issues these days.
I believe in God. I believe that God is the creator of this world.
I believe that God exist, but I don’t pray to God. I believe that God created us, but the rest is up to us. I thank God for giving me a lovely family when I was born, but the rest is up to me.
I believe that the God in Christianity is the Allah in Islam, as well as the ‘King of Deities” in other believes and religions. There can only be one God… and all these people must be worshipping the same God.
They can only be one God; it depends on how the religions are interpreting it. I don’t believe in any religion, because all of them must have misinterpreted God in some sense… or else all people that believe in God (or Allah, whatever) should share the same believe, and there would be less arguments and wars because of religious indifference.
One thing that I really don’t like about some people is their attitude towards their parents when it comes to parenting. Young parents these days like to try on new methods to teach their kids and distaste all those from their own parents.
Question is… are these people happy with whom they are now? If so, that certainly means that their parents must have done something right to make them the happy people they are today… and isn’t that worth respecting?
Nothing wrong with trying new methods… it doesn’t mean that we would have to deny all the experiences from our old folks.
The problem only arises when the people are not happy with whom they are… but then, these people shouldn’t be parents at all. If they can’t make themselves happy with themselves, what makes them think that they will make their children happy with whom they are when they grow up into adults?
Confused yet?
Be happy with who you are, or at least try to be. Respect your parents.
I used to have a T-shirt with the above quote printed on it. I am not sure who ‘created’ the quote… I guess it must be a lucky man who didn’t need to work much in his life, and never really understand the definition of tired.
“I am tired.” Instead of feeling blessed, I just felt a strong sense of helplessness, both physically and mentally.
Things have been pilling up lately; I think it’s the first time in my life that I have felt so stressed and tense about my work. Sometimes I just felt like walk away from my tasks for a few days… to take a breath and relax; but chances are I will fall further behind with my schedule, the work won’t disappear overnight.
I always advice my friends not to be caught in a rat race with their work… but seems like I myself are caught in one at the moment. What an irony.
It’s not blessing when a man says he’s tired. It is only a blessing when a man says he’s tired, and can actually take a good rest from his tiredness.
