Are you happy with whom you are?

One thing that I really don’t like about some people is their attitude towards their parents when it comes to parenting. Young parents these days like to try on new methods to teach their kids and distaste all those from their own parents.

Question is… are these people happy with whom they are now? If so, that certainly means that their parents must have done something right to make them the happy people they are today… and isn’t that worth respecting?

Nothing wrong with trying new methods… it doesn’t mean that we would have to deny all the experiences from our old folks.

The problem only arises when the people are not happy with whom they are… but then, these people shouldn’t be parents at all. If they can’t make themselves happy with themselves, what makes them think that they will make their children happy with whom they are when they grow up into adults?

Confused yet? Be happy with who you are, or at least try to be. Respect your parents.
