One of my favourite photos, taken back in Feb 2006 on a Sunday morning from my old house at Petaling Jaya…

Beautiful Sunday morning
It’s not just the scenery that pleased me, but the unexpected circumstances… it reminds me that life should be blissful, and that happiness could be found easily if we choose to find it.
Appreciate life, be happy, and Carpe diem.
People tend to make new friends during a trip, and at the end of the day would exchange contacts and vowed to keep in touch. Thing is… lots of people would forget (or choose to ignore) their promises.
High school friends, university friends, ex-colleague etc… there must be a large group of people that they have promised to keep in touch with… but lots of the time, “keep in touch” sounds like an alternative way to say goodbye, and nothing more.
People might bumped into their old friends once in a while, it’s a small world after all… they chat a bit and then exchanged contacts, and vowed to keep in touch… but this 2nd chance to keep in contact would slip away again for the same reasons.
They are some people who tried to hang on to their promise though, to keep in touch… it might work well at first, but later on “keeping in touch” simply means sending friends a bunch of useless chain mails.
Off course there are exceptions that people are keeping in touch despite moving on different path of life for years… these are friendship worth cherishing for life.
It doesn’t necessary mean though, that people don’t care if they failed to keep in touch… lots of the times they simply don’t know what to say… and as time goes by… it became increasing awkward to contact people they have not been in contact for ages.
Do you know anyone that you have promised to keep in touch with and not yet doing so? Time to dig into your phone book and email address book… whatever… time to dig into mine.
Keep in touch.
Being an idiot… will only hurt the people you love.
Those people that you want to sh!t at won’t bother about how idiotic you are… probably because they are much idiotic than you could ever be.
Some people are born to be idiots… some are just not meant to be.
Brewster Road, Hugh Low Street, Tiger Lane, Leech Street, Clayton Road, Anderson Road, Hume Street, Fair Park…
Ipoh folks would know what these roads are about, but sadly the younger generations are not knowing much about these… as the road names are being changed to something else instead.
I am always pissed when I heard that a major road name is being changed. The local councils always used the excuse of wanting to show more local contents with the road names… but what they have done is erasing part of the local heritage that we have.
Like it or not, English colonisation has dominated a large portion of our country history… there is no point denying the fact, and changing the road names doesn’t mean changing the past.
Sad thing is… the name changing isn’t going to end. It is still happening in Ipoh, KL and all over Malaysia. Nobody seems to care though…
You love a woman, the woman loves you, but she loves the other guy more.
She cares about you, but she cares more about the other guy.
He came first, for whatever she does.
When there is dispute between you and him, it’s always your fault.
If it is his fault… it’s because you forced him to commit the mistake.
When she is in trouble… she always came back to you.
For a short period of time… you became the hero.
Although knowing that it’s only for a short period of time…
You couldn’t resist doing your best to help her.
After helping her in the troublesome moment… she goes back to the guy again.
You are always the backup player… you will never be her favourite.
Read from a paper that the National Council of Parent-Teacher Associations (NCPTA) has suggested imposing a curfew for students after 10pm… funny.
When I was studying for STPM 9-10 years ago… I would still be in the school library by 10pm, probably having supper with some buddies by 11pm and reached home by midnight. Among those friends that I often had supper with… 2 have become doctors, at least a few engineers and most others are doing well in their respective fields.
What would happen if a 10pm curfew was imposed 10 years ago? Some of us could still do well… but I doubt all of us could achieve what we have now if we were forced to live like Cinderella back then.

What would you do if you are the last person on earth?
An asteroid has collided with the earth and you are probably the only person that has miraculously survived… what would you do?
Would you do your best to find if there is someone else on earth that has survived the Armageddon?
Would you find a quiet place and start planting and hunting and surviving on your own until your own day comes?
Or… would you just follow the footstep of the rest and just kill yourself?
What would I do if I am the last person on earth?
I don’t think the scenario is possible… the earth is probably not going to doom in my lifetime. Besides, the odd of only one person surviving any disaster is close to impossible; it is much easier to have everyone dead or at least thousands if not millions of survivors.
But then… to answer my own question… I would probably do my best to find if someone else is still alive. I might give up after a few years of finding, and try to find a scenic place with plenty of fish and stayed there alone for the rest of my life. Hopefully there are still fish to catch after the Armageddon.
What would you do if you are the last person on earth?
An asteroid is on a collision course with the earth and you have one hour left to live. What would you do in your last 60 minutes?
According to a recent British survey…
54% said they would like to spend it either with or on the phone to their loved ones;
13% would sit back, accept the inevitable and reach for a glass of champagne;
9% going for sex;
3% would turn to prayer;
2% would reach for some fatty food;
another 2% will start looting.
What would you do?
What would I do? I am not really sure… I think I will try to access the situation and see if there is any chance of survival and do my best to survive. An asteroid collision doesn’t mean that it would be the end of the world…
However, the question has stated that I would have only 60 minutes left to live… so I probably shouldn’t think too much. I would probably want to spend the time with my family, but then… if it’s Armageddon… the traffic would be horrible, and the phone line could be jammed. I probably won’t reach them on time.
Perhaps I would just sit in front of the PC, watching some live telecast up to the last minute the asteroid hit the earth… it would be nice if KFC are still selling their fried chicken, I could at least enjoy my last meal.
What would you do in your last 60 minutes?
