Everyone is striving for better, or at least try to keep things as there are. Frankly, I was much happier as a Malaysian 10 years ago compared to now. It’s not about me growing up… lots of other Malaysians are probably feeling the same way.

Malaysia is moving backwards in some issues in recent years… our economy is not moving, corruption worsen, crime rate rising, continuous biased policies etc.

As you said, we need to stay in a place for 3 years to know it well; it take courages for people to move to somewhere else, especially for those that has never live abroad for a decent period (for studies etc).

haha, yes you should have wish yesterday, you are LATE!

I am stayin abroad and of course i am a malaysian. To know other places you need to at least stay for 3 year. Ahh..living standard…peaceful…, most chinese are quite comfortable with their lifes…i know. Then what are complaining about? LOL

Are you still staying in Malaysia btw? I have been to some places that I am absolutely in love with… but I am born in Malaysia, that is a strong reason for me to stay here. Friends, relative, food, living standard, peaceful… I do think that we are not that bad.

’still something good’? for? lets see…food, friends, relatives…and…what?? lets compare to other developing southeast asia countries (except indo) as chinese, you will see is better in every way.

I am 28, I don’t like our government, I don’t like about a lot of things in Malaysia, but the fact that I am still staying here means that there are still something good about Malaysia.

as a malaysian chinese…when i was 12, i have strong and patriotic feeling about malaysia’s merdeka. Since today is my 37th birthday…i like to make a wish that my great grand father would have went somewhere else (not indonesia too)
