i am talking about economy. the recent claimed by international community that malaysia is no.3 among asean nation really does have stastictis (though i still cant find any info, but just remark). malaysia is at no.2 spot in the 90s. thailand is impressive and vietnam is fast improving nowadays…which cause problems to others, such as malaysia.

i have asked some idiot investors comparing malaysia and thailand vietnam…they said thais are more sweeter and vietnamese are whiter…with…better products!!! plus everything!!

ffad… there are many indexes for economy, but each will have it flaws. One of the most commonly used is gross domestic product (GDP) [Wiki]… Malaysia is listed behind Indonesia and Thailand; but then countries population could heavily influence the index (that’s why Singapore is behind Malaysia).

I prefer to use GDP per capita as reference… Malaysia should be 3rd as well, this time behind Brunei and Singapore.

If not mistaken Malaysia is also 3rd for foreign direct investment (FDI) last year, probably behind Indonesia and Thailand.

I recently (about 1 week ago), read that Malaysia is now no.3 in asean economy. The first should be Singapore but which country now seat at no.2? Thailand? as i know Vietnam is developing fast but i am not sure it had climbed to no.2.

I have to support the malays on this issue. Chinese is greedy, mostly. They just cant stop squeezing their counterparts untill they are dried. The malay majority is made of good people due to their religion that teaches positive attitudes on life, daily. So i dont see anything wrong with namawee case…i mean…there are many porn sites..why opened his mouth for the sake of machoness? It make me laugh that this idiot apologise.

While non-bumis are feeling unfairly treated by NEP… ultimately it’s the bumis (and all Malaysians) that are going to suffer. As mentioned some quarters could be overly relying on NEP and not working real hard to improve themselves… there could become a burden to the nation and for their own race.

I am optimist.. I see Malaysian going downward in economy and racial tension in the years ahead. Thailand and Vietnam are going to overtake us in economy as there is racial-base NEP.
Who to blame?
The political leaders who play the racial card !!!!
Malays, in general, are ‘addicted’ to the special privileges accorded. Ultimately, the Malays would realised NEP is like ‘opium’. Once you are addicted, it is difficult to quit.
What is in stall for the non-Bumi masses in Malaysia ?
Nothing.. the good news is that the problem would resolve by itself when Malay makes up more than 90% of total population..

Did I say that we should free Namewee? I did mention that if he breaks the law, he should be punished accordingly… yes, the constitution is meant to protect the social harmony, I know that. That’s why I said that EVEN IF some laws are stupid, it doesn’t mean we can break it.

I am not a fan of Namewee, I think he is arrogant and being insensitive… but do I think he is deliberate being a racist? No, I don’t. Do I think he should be punished under sedition act? No, I don’t.

As said, the local press and some politicians should take more responsibility in making this a nationwide issue; they created more racial tension then the video itself… if Namewee is punished under sedition act, why shouldn’t these people be punished as well?

I am not going to defend Namewee for his latest video, that one is deliberate obviously… but then, is he insulting Malaysians or just Malays? Don’t make it into a racist issue.

I am fine with your ‘gemuk macam babi’ statement… it is not a great insult. If we Malaysians can’t take these verbal abuses with a calm mindset, the country would have been in great chaos.

Commonlaaaa yein jee!!!!!!! what so ever reason made you said that the law is stupid, it actually really help to maintain the harmony of this country. Because of this single person cause all truth malaysian people feel upset and obviously its touch racism issues. What happen if chinese being insulted by other races, what is the action will be done by your races? This bloody idoit guy not only humiliate malays but also directly insult our country.

Let say we freed this guy. After this guy, whos next? and then we just simply let it go and then whos next again? and again…… and again….. and again…. we just simply let it go. Commonlaaaa if chinese people from Republic of China can be angry to US reporter for just a simple statement and it will be even worse if their own citizen humiliate their country, how could truth Malaysian can tolerate with this serious things?

I am very surprised why some malaysian chinese are so sympathetic with this stupid chinese punk. From my observation, he is just rebellious type kid (how many chinese are so interested in rap song) with all unconventional music in chinese community. He just did it in the spirit of rebellious, no-law attitude out of his punk style and corrupted mind without not even single intention of any political interest out of it……and some of Malaysian chinese community even including the educated and rational ones are defending this punk and assuming he just did small nakal stuff……what a shame, what a shame really…..hohohoh….

I believe it is blatantly unfair to all peace loving malaysians if this punk shall be freed, forgiven and not to be punished accordingly with the law just like when you have misbehaved boy to be handled. For those who defended and sympathized, the best conclusion is they might agree with his verses indirectly….otherwise this boy is just a pond in chess game and they are the true hypocrite!!!!! True… politicians sometimes have the obligation to put their parties’ interest ahead of their own, which would limit them to share what they really think about certain issues.

We won’t expect people from UMNO saying that we should abolish NEP, even though some of them might think that way… just an example.
