Taiwan is infamous for their occasional brawl in parliament meeting… but no worries, Malaysia is catching up.

Just a week ago Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environment, S. Sothinathan, has verbally challenged female MP Fong Po Kuan for a fight, but this time a Kelantan state assemblyman has decided to turn words into action instead.

It happens at Kelantan State Assembly on Nov 27 when Nozula Mat Diah (BN – Paloh) assaulted Mohd Zaki Ibrahim (PAS – Kelaboran) after being ‘provoked’.

I am not sure if I could classify this as a brawl yet… Nozula kicked Zaki like a sissy and Zaki replied, but separated by other assemblymen before a real fight could begin.

Nozula later claimed that he was right to challenge Zaki because the latter had allegedly uttered the word Jakun [Thestar]… half true. I could hear clearly that Nozula was shouted Jakun before he unleashed his kick, but fact is he began charging to Zaki when he was told to apologize for being rude (kurang ajar) to the Speaker.

Unfortunately for Nozula, everything is caught on video…

Video with a little surprise…

Besides, being verbally insulted doesn’t give Nozula any rights to turn violent. If we want to react on every verbal abuses from parliament or state assembly, some Member of Parliaments would be in deep sh!t by now. The moronic Nazri for example would have his mouth stuck with a dozen of bananas for all his insulting words.

Thoughts from other about this ‘fight’…
